- Solvent-free – Any concentrate where the end result is 0ppm of solvents, even if the extraction process contained them.
- Rosin – Traditionally referring to any extraction method using heat and pressure.
- Hash Rosin – Rosin pressed from hash, usually made using H2O
- Badder/Batter – Whipped rosin, usually a peanut butter like consistency.
- Nectar/Jam – A clear rosin, usually a honey like consistency.
- Slush/Lava – A semi-solid rosin, usually THC crystals in a honey like consistency.
- Resin – Traditionally cannabis concentrate made with hydrocarbon extraction
- Live – any extraction process where the fresh plant material is frozen first.
- Fresh Press – any heat and pressure extraction process where the plant is taken fresh from harvest to be extracted.
- 2nd/3rd Press – subsequent extractions of a single starting material. Usually darker and of lower quality, but often still incredible quality from brands like _____ _____ _____.
- Whipped – The result of whipping the rosin concentrate to make the texture and flavor uniform.
- Cold Cure – The act of curing the rosin at or below room temperature for up to several weeks. Usually leads to higher prices due to the longer production time.
- Cured Rosin/Resin – Any extraction made from plant material that has gone through a drying and (in theory) curing process.
- Micron – The size of the trichomes in any concentrate, usually water hash.
